Gasping for Air
each second, a lifetime
The largest panel. Recycled ipe wood, hand carved and split nearly in half. Above the sunken face, the second hand of a clock keeps ticking.
The Eagle
a belief in the question: ‘what can I do now?’ (repeat)
Recycled ipe wood, hand carved. The spread wings are slices of ipe.
The Dragon’s Eye
when I looked in the Dragon’s Eye, I saw my own reflection.
Glued recycled ipe wood, with a hand-carved body and tail. Legs, antennae and pincers of recycled construction rebar. Wings cut from the steel of a recycled sauna oven.
The Space Between
間 what will I discover in the silence?
A simple black panel in a hardwood frame.
SOAR
learning to fly… forward
The smallest panel, A4 size. A flying fish of TIG-welded stainless steel, left raw, on a stainless steel back panel painted black.
